President and Chief Executive Officer
Kyle Kazan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BFP Management. He is considered an expert in the repositioning of troubled assets, turning them into pride of ownership properties with high occupancy and above market rents. Prior to forming BFP Management, Mr. Kazan was in law enforcement for five years where he garnered his expertise in gang and drug identification / eradication, knowledge which he shares in company seminars. Mr. Kazan frequently speaks on panels in the Real Estate Industry and is quoted often by the media.
Before organizing Beach Front Property Management, Mr. Kazan co-founded Beach Front Properties, LLC which owns apartment communities and office buildings in California and Texas. He is widely known as a contrarian investor who correctly times acquisitions and dispositions in Southern California, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Austin, Texas, Shanghai, China and Berlin, Germany. He currently serves on the Board of the Apartment Association and on the Board of the Wellness Community of the South Bay. Mr. Kazan is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he played on the varsity basketball team.
Mr. Kazan is married with a son. He enjoys spending time with his family at the beach and enjoys coaching his son in sports.
Chief Operations Officer
Lucille Aresco- Crowley, who joined BFP Management in 2008, is responsible for the operational leadership of the company. Lucille has more than 25 years of experience in real estate and property management. Prior to BFP Mgmt., she served as Director of Property Management of RK Properties, General Manager of Seasons Management and Manager of the International Tower under Signal, Land and Cattle. She has been responsible for all aspects of management in five states in the Western Region including overseeing many multi-million dollar rehabs, condo conversions, lease ups on new construction and running properties in receivership for financial institutions such as GE Capital, First Nationwide, American Savings, First Federal and California Federal to name a few.
Lucille graduated from the University of Connecticut and then furthered her education with a CAM and CHPP and EPA Renovator designations. She was awarded the Rental Housing Employee of the Year in 1997 and again in 2010. The Ben Slater Award of outstanding educator in the rental housing industry was awarded her in 2000. She serves on the Board as Chair of Education for the Apartment Association California Southern Cities.
Controller
Margaret Holden is Beach Front Property Management’s Controller. Ms. Holden manages the accounting team, software implementation, and financial reporting. Prior to her appointment at Beach Front, she was in charge of client accounting services at Realpage Inc. During her career, Ms. Holden has been the Controller for 3 other large companies based in Southern California.
Ms Holden holds a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA with emphasis in Finance from Cal State University, Fullerton.
Raquel Gonzalez
Regional Property Supervisor
Raquel Gonzalez joined BFP Management in 1999 as an on-site property manager. Ms. Gonzalez excelled at managing and then mentoring neighboring managers. After several years she was promoted to Regional Property Supervisor.
Currently Raquel oversees a portfolio of properties and their respective employees. Her duties include overseeing collections, budgets, financials, field inspections, marketing, leasing and supervising rehabs of the communities.
Raquel holds her Certified Apartment Managers designation (CAM) and was awarded Property Supervisor of the Year in 2003 and 2006 by the Apartment Association of California Southern Cities. She is also Fair Housing Certified and holds an EPA Renovator Certification.
Regional Property Supervisor
Kenya Rivera joined BFP Management in 1999 as an on-site property manager. Ms. Rivera excelled at managing . After several years she was promoted to lead the Maintenance Department which she did for over five years. In 2008 Kenya was promoted to Regional Property Supervisor.
In 2006, Kenya was recognized by the Apartment Association of Southern Cities as an Outstanding Maintenance Supervisor and in 2007 was named the Supervisor of the Year.
In 2008, Ms. Rivera moved back to field operations becoming a Regional Property Supervisor. She is especially adept at repositioning troubled properties and with her expertise in maintenace can assist owners who need immediate attention due to code violations and / or the Rent Escrow Account Program of the City of Los Angeles (REAP).
Ms. Rivera holds her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation from 2003 and holds an EPA Renovation Certification.
Regional Property Supervisor
Kris Hulgreen was recruited to BFP Management in 2002 shortly after graduating from college where he was a resident at one of BFP’s communities. He excelled as an on-site manager and was promoted through the ranks of the company and he currently serves as a Regional Property Supervisor.
Mr. Hulgreen is an expert in developing marketing and advertising plans for properties and speaks often on the subject. He oversees both residential and office complexes.
Just prior to joining BFP and while working concurrently as an on-site manager, Mr. Hulgreen worked for Xerox and founded his own marketing company.
Mr. Hulgreen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State Fullerton where he played for the varsity soccer team. He has completed his Certified Apartment Manager Course 1 (CAM I) , his EPA Renovation Certification and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for soccer at his alma mater Mater Dei in 1997.
Regional Property Supervisor
Daniel Guevara is the regional supervisor for over 250 apartment homes in Long Beach and Bellflower. His expertise in leasing and property oversight generates an excellent cash flow for our owners as he leases and collects the rents on single family homes as well as multifamily communities.
Working as an independent contractor and also with another local property management firm prior to Beach Front, Daniel is well versed in property management. He also holds his Life Agent License and has recently achieved his Fair Housing Certification.
Michael Pollack
Regional Property Supervisor
Michael Pollack is a regional supervising manager of the South Bay area. His extensive experience in management is only preceded by his drive and passion for company expansion and the building of good, strong relationships with team members, clients, and tenants. Michael has been a great asset to Beach Front and his remarkable dexterity in marketing and sales along with his vibrant energy makes him one of our top “go-getters”.
Starting as a residential manager, Michael has been promoted to his current position after displaying remarkable skill as both a resident manager and district manager, respectively. Undoubtedly the expertise and skills Michael acquired as an independent business owner and a top tier sales manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel prior to Beach Front has earned Michael numerous Leadership and Human Relations certifications, among many others. Acquiring, building and maintaining a new, fresh and growing clientele are only a few of the talents he possesses but in his current position allow him to excel in his duties and for that he is a special addition to the Beach Front family.
Regional Property Supervisor
Martin Alon is a regional supervising manager here at Beach Front. As an honoree of the Apartment Association for Assistant Manager of the year in 2007, Martin has excelled in the real estate industry and because of the experience he acquired, prior to BFP as property manager and community director for several notable property management companies, he has proven invaluable to the BFP brand.
Contributing to high occupancy rates and low delinquency rates, Martin has demonstrated exemplary knowledge of the real estate market and his ability to network and build relationships with his team and tenants is evidence to his commitment to the Beach Front brand. Martin’s managerial capabilities cover a range of aspects including proficiency in real estate law and he has experience in representing property management companies in the court room. With all things considered Martin is added value to BFP and our mission to serve.
